How to Check for a Missing Email

Some emails can get lost either due to being flagged by an automated system or a miss-click. There are a few places you can check for missing emails, namely your Junk Email, Deleted Items, and Archive folders. In the browser and desktop versions of Outlook, these folders are listed on the left side of the screen.

Junk Email is often listed as such due to Outlook's automated security, so it may be worth checking to see if the email address you were expecting the missing email from is in your Blocked Senders.

Deleted Items and Archived items are usually done so either through an Email Rule or by right-clicking over a given email and selecting either "Delete" or "Archive".
