Android/IOS Native VPN Connection to Palo Alto

Step-by-step guide

Apple IOS

  1. Go to Settings, VPN, Add VPN Configuration:

    Type:  IPSec

    Description:  Enter a name for the VPN, such as FSUVPN

    Server:  vpn.frostburg.edu

    Account:  Your username (ex:  Jdoe)

    Password:  You will be prompted during the connection process

    Group Name:  FSUOIT (all upper case)

    Secret:  Ocst68601

Android

       1.  Go to Settings, Wireless and Networks, VPN, Click the + to add a new VPN

            Name:  Enter a name for the VPN, such as FSUVPN

            Type:  IPSec Xauth PSK

            Server address:  vpn.frostburg.edu

            IPSec Identifier:  FSUOIT (all upper case)

            IPSec pre-shared key:  Ocst68601

            Save

            Click the new VPN, enter your FSU username and password
