Some issues with Teams can be resolved by clearing the cache for the Teams app. Microsoft support has some instructions here on how to clear your Teams cache: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/teams-administration/clear-teams-cache
I will reiterate them below as well.

For Windows:

  1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the taskbar, and then select Quit.
  2. Open the Run dialog box by pressing the Windows logo key  +R.
  3. In the Run dialog box, enter %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams, and then select OK.
  4. Delete all files and folders in the %appdata%\Microsoft\Teams directory.
  5. Restart Teams.

For Mac:

  1. If Teams is still running, right-click the Teams icon in the dock, and then select Quit, or press Command (⌘)-Q.

  2. Select the magnifying glass in the upper right corner, type in "Terminal", and press Return.
  3. Enter the following command, and then press Return: rm -r ~/Library/Application\ Support/Microsoft/Teams
  4. Restart Teams

If this does not resolve your issue on Teams or if you have any other questions or concerns, please contact the FSU Helpdesk at 301-687-7777 or webhelpdesk@frostburg.edu.
