Windows Computer

Expand the system tray (click the up arrow in the bottom right hand side of your screen next to the time).

Look for the Global Protect icon in the system tray.  Look for the GlobalProtect icon. It looks like a grey globe.

If that icon appears, GlobalConnect is already installed!

If the box above the Connect button is empty, type in "vpn.frostburg.edu" and then select Connect.

Next a Sign In dialog will appear. Enter your FSU username (without the ‘@frostburg.edu’) and password and then click Sign In.

Once successfully connected you will see the following window appear. You can close it out and continue with your work.

If necessary, the Help Desk may need to determine your IP address for the VPN connection.

Click on the GlobalProtect icon in your menu bar, click on the gear icon, and then click Settings.

In the GlobalProtect Settings windows that appears, click on the Connection tab. There you can find your IP address.

Mac Computer
